The project consists of a comprehensive renovation of the LSU Emerging Technologies Center (LETC), a 67,351-square-foot facility that will become the Military & Security Sciences Building. The base scope of work includes interior renovations across all three floors, incorporating new partitions, finishes, ceilings, lighting, and mechanical systems. Additionally, a new egress stair will be added on the second floor to meet safety and code requirements. The renovation will also include the installation of new locker rooms, classrooms, and the refurbishment of existing restrooms. Site improvements will feature a new walkway canopy, yard renovation, additional sidewalks, and the construction of a rappelling tower. The project includes 3 alternates. Alternate No. 01: New storefront entry at adjacent Digital Media Center, new flooring, & paint at corridor. Alternate No. 02: Replace existing lobby terrazzo on the first floor. Alternate No. 03: Provide new fire pump and pump room
