1) OVERVIEW Grambling State University is seeking proposals from qualified vendors that meet the requirements and technical specifications outlined below, fulfill the defined scope of work, provide required warranties (including on-site services and ongoing long-term support), and adhere to the requested installation timeline. This request for proposals is for the sale and installation of two new LED video message displays to be installed on the campus of Grambling State University. The displays will be wall-mounted onto exterior building surfaces and must be designed for outdoor use, including appropriate weatherproofing to withstand environmental conditions such as rain, wind, heat, and humidity. The proposal must include all components and services associated with installation, training, warranties, and support. Offerors must submit a comprehensive technical and cost proposal detailing a solution that meets all requirements contained in this document. 2) General Information per detailed below specifications: a) Provide and install two (2) 10mm SMD LED full matrix screens with control systems b) Installation onto brick wall at each building designated location provided in the bid c) Provide one complete control system for each display d) Reference Conceptual Renderings - Attachment A e) Reference Scope of Work / Responsibility Checklist – Attachment B 3) Vertical Display One and Horizontal Display Two - LED Video Screen Specifications: a) Vertical Display Minimum Screen Active Area for location One: no less than 22.0’ high x 12.5’ wide b) Horizontal Display Minimum Screen Active Area for location Two: no less than 12.5’ high x 22.0’ wide c) Minimum SMD LED Screen Pixel Pitch of 10mm. Defined as the (Distance Between Light Points or Pixels) will be 10mm spacing or better between adjacent vertical and horizontal Pixels creating uniform spacing between all Pixels. Only True 10mm Pixel Spacing or better will be considered. Line Spacing, Pixel Sharing, Virtual Pixel, Optimized or Pixel Skipping technologies are not acceptable. d) Vertical Display Minimum Pixel Matrix of not less than 576 pixels high x 384 pixels wide. e) Horizontal Display Minimum Pixel Matrix of not less than 384 pixels high x 576 pixels wide. f) Minimum Brightness 10,000 NIT or better g) Minimum LED Refresh Rate: 3840 Hz h) The LED Screen and the Video Processor must have the ability to show video on the LED screen at a rate of 60 frames per second i) Single BIN LED’s, LED Screen must present a uniform color and even brightness without any factory calibration j) Redundant Novastar A5S+ Receiving cards per tile are required on the video display k) LED Lifetime: Minimum of 100,000 hours to half brightness l) Minimum Viewing Angle: 140º horizontally; 120 º vertically m) Energy saving common-cathode technology n) Electrical Certification of the LED Screen or ETL
