• The selected contractor shall provide qualified law enforcement personnel and consulting expertise to assist the GSU Police Department and University Administration with planning, coordination, and implementation of public safety operations. • Services may include, but are not limited to, staffing events, supporting police operations, and assisting with security management and planning. Contractor responsibilities shall include the following: • Operational Support: Assist University Police and other designated University staff with law enforcement–related operations, enforcement of University policies, and crowd and traffic control during events. • Event Staffing: Provide staffing for University facilities and scheduled events, including but not limited to home football games, Homecoming Week activities, commencement ceremonies, and other large public gatherings as requested. • Safety and Security Planning: • Support the development of operational and logistical plans related to crowd management, parking control, and emergency response. • Identify and staff checkpoints, entry points, and other critical access areas to prevent unauthorized or prohibited items from entering University venues. • Incident Management: Work collaboratively with University Police. Any detentions, arrests, or incident reports must be initiated and completed by GSU Police officers in accordance with University and State policies.
