A. Inspection and Maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems - Inspect/test systems per NFPA 17A and manufacturer specs. - Check nozzles, fusible links, cylinder pressure, manual stations, interlocks for deterioration and replace semi-annually according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. - Inspect/test hydrostatic and regulators on hoods. - Provide system certification tags after service. Any repairs identified during inspection and tagging will be covered under this contract but may be quoted separately, and a separate purchase order may be issued. - 12-year test and refill with cartridge replacement B. Cleaning of Hood Exhaust Systems - Remove grease and debris per NFPA 96 Chapter 11. - Clean ductwork, fans, underside of hood, filters, plenum to bare metal (NFPA 96 11.6.2). - Provide before and after photographs (submitted with service reports). - Install service tags on hoods with relevant service information.
