Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Shreveport is requesting Consulting Engineering Services for study, design, bidding and construction engineering for the Improvements to the Amiss Water Treatment Intake Structure Project to improve the resiliency and reliability of the City's WTP for providing raw water for producing drinking water. The Consulting Engineering Firm will work directly with the Clean Water Shreveport Program and the City. The scope of work for this project is related to the replacement of the raw water intake crib and 60" raw water piping system with misc. related construction. The work requires a thorough understanding of under-water structure inspection and construction, open trench construction of underground utilities, winter freeze protection, temporary raw water intake systems, and rehabilitation of existing intake crib structures. Consulting Engineering Firm must have experience with raw water intake investigation and repair, underwater pipe replacement/ repair and providing temporary raw water service as needed to maintain water service.
