Specifications include, but are not limited to: installation of anew cantilever main gate at Camp Cook, Ball, Louisiana. 1. Contractor will install one cantilever gate replacing the existing gate. Gate will be picketed, black and arched. New gate will be constructed of metal tubing with flat black painted finish. A design concept is shown in Enclosure 1. 2. Contractor will install Nylon (or equal) cantilever rollers, with safety roller covers. 3. Contractor will install new chain drive slide gate opener at 1fps. 4. Contractor will install a pedestal/ riser for gate opener. 5. Contractor will install plug in loop detector for HySecurity operators. 6. The gate opener will have two safety loops, an exit loop (100’), and a TX/RX photo beam set with hoods. 7. Contractor will install telephone entry with voice annunciation, lighted hood, and software for system. 8. Contractor will supply instructional sign for entry system. 9. Contractor will be required to run low voltage line with transformer from guard shack. 10. Contractor will warranty all access control equipment for period of (2) years, or manufacturers’ warranty whichever is greater. All labor will be warranted for 90 days from date of final acceptance of all work for the project. 11. Contractor will ensure access control equipment is installed by a State Fire Marshall licensed installer for mechanical systems for gates. 12. Refer to Enclosure 1 for information concerning new gate material and spacing. Gate will cover a 16 foot opening which is the main entrance to Camp Cook. Contractor will install all necessary concrete footers / structures and runners to maintain the level operation of the cantilever gate. 13. Refer to Enclosure 1 for a visual representation of the design of cantilever gate as a guide only. Contractor will submit design for PM review and approval prior to order / fabrication of the gate. 14. Removal of debris and materials is the responsibility of the contractor.
