GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Galvanized and Poly-Coated corrugated steel round culverts and bands must be made in the USA, with American corrugated round steel. Plastic culverts must be dual wall and manufactured in the USA. The culverts must meet the specifications and caliper inspections of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, and the Sabine Parish Police Jury Road and Shop Committee or Road Superintendent. All culverts should be bid at prices per foot, sizes 12" through 144", 8 through 16-gauge thickness. In order for the Police Jury to compare bids, prices must be submitted FOB delivered parish wide, at single culvert prices, without any delivery charge. Price alone will not be the only determining factor; quantity, availability, delivery, and delivery time will also be considered. Bidders are requested to submit bids only for the specific types and sizes listed. Other types or sizes of culverts will not be considered.
