A contract for the removal of two fuel UST (underground storage tank), disposal of tanks, and related mitigation work. Mitigation work includes backfill excavation to subgrade with clean compacted material, resurface excavation as similar to finished concrete roadway and level surrounding soils to grade. The tanks are located at 6250 Lapalco Marrero, La. 70072 in the sewer treatment plant yard. The USTs are 6000 gallons and 4000 gallons. Removal includes 2 dispensers, UST monitoring kiosk and UST vents. Supply and install a Veeder-Root TLS4B on USTs located at 3600 Jefferson Hwy., Jefferson, La. 70121. The installation includes associated probes, floats and sensors for two tanks. Excavation is required to tank tops where 36” x 4” risers will be installed for probes. Supply and install 24” x 24” manway on each tank for probe. Trenching will be required to existing annular sensors for the installation of conduit. Supply and install shielded low voltage wire for probes and sensors from tanks to Veeder-Root. Electricians to remove existing OC system and complete wire connections.
