The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, materials, and qualified labor to complete an interior build-out at the DPW Fleet Maintenance Building, located at 620 N. Tyler Street, Covington, Louisiana 70433. The work includes the removal of existing interior fencing; construction of new framed walls and an 8-foot ceiling, with insulation in all walls and ceiling assemblies; installation of drywall on all interior walls and the ceiling, which must be decked to accommodate future storage; and painting of all new interior walls and ceiling surfaces. The contractor shall install new lighting, electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and data wiring; a new door with associated hardware, trim, and baseboards; and a mini-split air conditioning and heating unit, including a drain line routed to the building’s exterior. The scope also includes the installation of two windows: One solid and One pass-through, and final site cleanup with removal of all construction-related debris The Parish reserves the right to add, remove or otherwise modify the above, as determined necessary by the Parish and as allowed by law. The time period for completion of the project is ninety (90) calendar days with a thirty (30) calendar day assembly period from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued by the Parish. Any work that may be reasonably inferred from the specifications or drawings as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied, whether or not it is specifically called for. Work, materials, or equipment described herein which so applied to this project are covered by a wellknown technical meaning or specification shall be deemed to be governed by such recognized standards unless specifically excluded.
