Service Description Line No. 1: Inspections, Testing, Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Systems including Sprinkler System for Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System Iota Site Mandatory One Day/One Time Jobsite Visit required to validate location, placement, accessibility, and existence of fire safety equipment that include but not limited to alarm systems with all components, sprinkler systems with all components, and suppressant systems with all components. Contractor shall inspect, test, and service all fire alarm systems annually as required to meet all NFPA requirements including sensitivity testing of all smoke and heat detectors and providing for the replacement of faulty detectors at no additional costs and provide detailed inspection report. Contractor shall inspect, test, and service all smoke dampers every 12 months as required to meet all NFPA requirements and provide detailed inspection report. Contractor shall inspect, test, and service quarterly and monthly as required all sprinkler systems to meet all NFPA and Joint Commission requirements and provide detailed inspection report. All electronic testing and inspection documentation shall be submitted to Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System per NFPA and Joint Commission requirements. Contractor shall maintain adequate number of replacement sprinkler heads for each building. Contractor shall inspect, test, and service fire suppressant system for hood and range located at the facility to meet all NFPA and Joint Commission requirements. Service shall include semiannual cleaning and inspection of systems and shall provide detailed inspection report. Contractor shall inspect, test, and service fire doors, fire and smoke barriers, and related components annually to meet all NFPA requirements. Contractor shall furnish all of the necessary technical support, labor, tools, testing equipment, and other services necessary and incidental to testing, inspecting, servicing and maintenance of all of the fire suppressant system and fire systems including sprinkler systems and all peripheral equipment, such as fire doors in their entirety in accordance with NFPA and Joint Commission requirements. Contractor shall be responsible for the delivering of the aforementioned scope 24 hours a day seven days a week with a four hour maximum response time.
