Specifications include, but are not limited to: entertainment and educational service at LTU is distributed throughout the campus from a central location (Harper Hall) where programming is then distributed via single mode fiber optic cable to specific points on campus. The central location may change to another location. Relocation of the central location is not included in the bid requirements. The television signal is then taken to other buildings via buried copper transmission cable and within buildings via coax cable. This service will service 7 residential buildings, University Park Apartments, Park Place Apartments, New apartments, New suites, and select cable television drops in non-residence buildings and academic buildings. Approx: 2,400 cable television drops within the residence halls Approx: 90 cable television drops in non-residence halls A broadband cable distribution system between buildings Etc.
