Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the following work at the Cambridge Pump Station in LaPlace, LA of St. John the Baptist Parish: 1) refurbish the three (3) existing pumps, including changing operating speed, and provide new motors, 2) removal and replacement of aboveground flanged DI piping and valves and connect to the existing 14” PVC force main with buried restrained joint 14” DI MJ pipe and fittings, 3) addition of VFDs, 4) various electrical improvements including new control panels , 5) wet well modifications, 6) application of a liner in the larger wet well, 7) installation of an air release valve on the existing 20-inch sewer force main at the intersection of Cambridge Drive and US 61, and 8) installation and operation of bypass pump(s).
