Specifications include, but are not limited to: • This solicitation is for the installation of badge readers at Southwest Louisiana VeteransHome. • This project is to provide a turn-key expansion of the existing Wander Management System, NORTEK™ Security & Control LLC’s Max3 system, and Linear eMerge software. • The existing managed door access control system is fully integrated throughout the facility with a Door GUARDIAN™ Wander Management System by Secure Care Products Inc. for the safety of our residents and employees. The combined relationship with all of these systems shall be maintained. • The Contractor shall provide nine (9) additional card proximity readers, three (3) push to exit mechanisms, and all necessary door locking security hardware. • The Contractor is responsible for providing all required hardware to complete thejob. • The Contractor shall provide any necessary electrical wiring, to include but not limited to gang boxes and conduits. • The six (6) doors requiring new access controls will consist of double-sided for two (2) entry points to our Alzheimer’s unit, two (2) entry points to the nurse’s station, one (1) entry to the kitchenette, and double-sided for one (1) exterior door to the patio. • The two (2) nurse’s station and one (1) kitchenette door will have the push to exit mechanisms on the interior of the room. • The system shall be installed by a licensed and certified distributor of Secure Care Products Inc. and Nortek™ Security & Control for proper integration. Provide documentation as proof during job site visit. • A single gang box with conduit shall be provided at every reader location along with all power supplies and door controllers, including any necessary wires, run to the breakerpanel.
