Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security Operations Measures Security guards will conduct security operations measures which include random patrols (both foot patrols and vehicle patrols of Sewerage and Water Board facilities to include any off-site parking lots), visual checks on truck deliveries to any facility, and inspection of employees’ access badges to ensure unauthorized persons are not entering the Board facilities. Security guards will be required to conduct a minimum of two (2) random patrols per work shift. The Sewerage & Water Board Security Manager will coordinate with the Contractor’s Operations Manager to develop and implement these random patrols and incorporate them into the Post Duties. Based upon security needs, this requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the Board. Security Camera Monitoring Station and Patrols The Contractor shall have a 24/7 video monitoring center to monitor the Board’s security cameras at off- site locations. The Contractor shall also provide 24/7 patrol service that can respond to the Board off-site facilities that do not have on-site security guards. Security Guard Duties Security guards are responsible for monitoring fire, access control, intrusion alarm, and visitor management security systems, observing and reporting unusual activity, general security of Sewerage & Water Board property and personnel, and taking appropriate actions per written instructions. Contractor must prepare and maintain Security Guard post/shift orders for each Security Guard assignment. The post/shift orders must be posted in a conspicuous location at each Sewerage & Water Board facility and will be subject to inspection and approval by the Sewerage & Water Security Manager.
