Task 1 – Review the 100% design drawings and specifications for both the Algiers Ferry Terminal building and Maintenance building. Evaluate the waterproofing, detailing, and general soundness of the building envelope design, including but not limited to: Roofing systems Replacement windows Doors, flashing, caulking, and other weatherproofing treatments Provide a concise written report summarizing findings and recommending any revisions to the design or specification documents. Task 2 – Conduct periodic inspections of building envelope installations during construction for both the Algiers Ferry Terminal building and Maintenance building. Perform at least one on-site inspection corresponding to the installation of each major building envelope component. Submit a concise written report at the conclusion of each site visit, documenting installation quality, any discrepancies from the design, and suggested corrective actions, if any. Due to the limited scope of this engagement, the selected consultant will not be held liable for the underlying architectural or engineering design of the building envelope systems. This is an advisory role intended to provide an independent, professional opinion. The consultant’s reviews and inspections will not constitute formal certification or warranty. The RTA acknowledges that this engagement is supplemental in nature.
