This is a combined/synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (FRQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-02, November 23, 2020.
This requirement provides for the acquisition of Armed Security Guard Services to provide security services at disaster related sites and facilities within the declared areas for DR-1603-LA in the State of Louisiana. The Contractor shall only utilize Department of Labor (DOL) category 27102 guard II security personnel to perform services under the resulting contract. All category Guard II security personnel must also meet all local and state qualification requirements necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. The anticipated period of performance will include a base period of twelve (12) month and two (2) twelve (12)- month option periods.
This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS Code 561612 with a size standard of $20.5 million. In addition, this acquisition is set-aside for local area concerns in accordance with FAR 52.226-4 Notice of Disaster or Emerency Area Set-Aside.

All interested companies shall provide a Technical Quote (Volume I) and a Business & Price Quote (Volume II) for the services described in Attachment 1, Statement of Work (SOW). Quote Submission Instructions are set forth in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, Addendum.
