Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of Kentucky Police Department (UKPD) seeks to centralize security video management system (VMS) operations on campus. The scope of this project is to upgrade and migrate up to 2800 IP security cameras currently installed in a distributed network to a single VMS platform. UKPD will provide the IP and MAC addresses for each camera to the integrator for programming. UKPD expects little or no hardware to be included in the project. At the conclusion of this project UKPD expects all cameras to be operating and recording on a single platform, all bona fide users to have access to UKPD defined cameras through the integrator defined client, all users trained directly or through train-the-trainer sessions, and the University of Kentucky security standards (Division 28) to be updated with the appropriate requirements and established single vendor of record for licensing and programming for future security camera installations.
