Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this RFP is to procure abundant and accurate historic travel speed data for the Kentucky highway system for the years of 2015, 2016, and 2017. This data must have a spatial coverage beyond the National Highway System and are available on roadway links rather than the Traffic Message Channel (TMC) links. This data will be used to support a broad range of applications at state, MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization), and local levels, including but are not limited to: System performance and travel time reliability tracking over time Project evaluation and prioritization Calibration and validation of travel models to improve forecasting accuracy Safety performance evaluation Incident management performance measures Research
