Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting proposals from professional firms to complete an assessment of KCAB’s current supply chain and materials management organization and processes at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”), advise on best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement, if any. All KCAB departments play a role in the management of supplies from identifying a need, to requisitioning, ordering, delivery, receipt, distribution, and use. Each department is responsible for maintaining its own inventory, including physical possession and protection, stocking and labeling, processing requisitions or receipts for purchase or stock transfers from other locations at CVG, and usage reporting. While departments generally serve different roles within the organization, everyone’s main objective related to supply chain management is to place the right part, at the right price, in the right place, at the right time.
