Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of the project is to restore the masonry construction wall at the North side of the garden area at the John James Audubon Museum grounds. Restoration of the brick wall will include the dismantling of the remainder of the North garden wall and its complete reconstruction with brick masonry gathered on site and from the deconstruction and with replacement period appropriate brick, the removal and reset of concrete caps, replacement of some sections of concrete caps, and general concrete foundation cleaning and restoration. Reconstruction will adhere to existing brick coursing, pattern, layout, size, pier to pier distance, and mortar joint striking. The separate section of the North garden wall connected to the museum patio will be repointed if determined feasible but should initially be considered part of the reconstruction.
