Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1. Monitoring on the Fire Alarm System and Security Systems and their components (7) seven days a week, (24) twenty four hours a day including holidays. Components include but aren’t limited too, fire alarms activations on fire panels, entry and exit devices, batteries, glass break detectors, photocells, motion detectors, panic devices, card readers, door contacts, etc. 3.1.2. Notification to Branch staff of alarm prior to contacting police and fire dispatch. 3.1.3. Establish protocols to allow cancellation of false alarms by Facilities staff. 3.1.4. Fire Alarm System testing and Inspections as required by the Louisville Metro Fire Department, State of Kentucky and Authorities with Jurisdiction. 3.1.4.1 All testing to be completed by an individual from your company with the appropriate certification options; for example, for Installer – Alarm System Maintenance Inspector, must be by a NICET I or higher in Fire Alarm Systems of Inspection/Testing of Fire Alarm Systems. 3.1.6. Endorsements by the state of Kentucky will be required. 3.1.7. Full understanding of the operation of each different type of Security and Fire Alarm panel, and technical support for each. 3.1.8. Programming of Fire Alarm panels and Bosch Security panels. 3.1.9. Provide weekly Open/Close reports for Security Panel activity at each site. 3.2.0. The Contractor is required to sign in at the Circulation Desk when arriving at the Branch and signing out when leaving the Branch.
