Specifications include, but are not limited to: • environmental site assessments including Phase I, II and III (such services pertain to hazardous, toxic and radiologic waste), including the preparation of site characterization reports, including such items as risk assessments, remedial investigation/feasibility studies, remediation design, corrective actions, records of decision and groundwater assessments • underground storage tank (UST) closure and compliance, and hydrogeologic studies • regulatory compliance and reporting, and to serve, at times, as regulatory liaison • installation of monitoring networks for groundwater • sampling programs for soil, soil gas, groundwater, surface water, and sediment • prepare items such as quality assurance and quality control plans, health and safety plans, project management plans and data management programs • Participation in community engagement activities • Core sampling of subsurface soils to establish bearing pressures and capacity ; • Testing of construction materials such as field and laboratory testing of concrete and other building materials. • Special Inspections as required by the Kentucky Building code. • Forensic testing of building materials.
