Specifications include, but are not limited to: Counseling services offered include, but shall not be limited to, training, counseling programs, performance records referrals and publicity for the purpose of the Authority’s employees awareness. The Company shall be situated in the Greater Louisville area and shall be responsible for responding to a broad range of counseling aid, including but not limited to: alcoholism, drug abuse, quitting smoking, family illness, physical handicaps, marital strain, child/day care, child abuse, parenting issues, financial stress, care of the elderly, violence prevention, legal assistance and other personal crises. a. The Company's EAP is expected to respond to a broad range of counseling aid, at a location in the Greater Louisville Area that provides confidential waiting and parking which precludes arriving and departing employees from observing one another. The Services shall include, but not limited to: alcoholism, drug abuse, quitting smoking, family illness, physical handicaps, marital strains, child/day care, child abuse, parenting issues, financial stress, care of the elderly, violence prevention, legal assistance and other personal crises. b. The Company shall provide a comprehensive on-site orientation program for all employees as an introduction to the Services provided through the EAP. Due to the various locations of the Authority's offices, the dates, times and locations of the orientation program will be determined by the Authority. The Company must agree to be available to provide at least two orientation sessions during the initial start-up of the EAP. The Company shall provide to each employee attending this program a brochure outlining the EAP Services that are offered. The Company also agrees to provide 50 additional brochures to be distributed by the Authority. The cost of designing, producing and distributing said brochure shall be the responsibility of the Company. c. The Company shall provide a minimum of four "brown bag" workshops within the initial contract period with dates, times and locations to be established by the Authority. d. The Company shall design and present a program to train supervisors annually in detecting employee job performance deficiencies, workplace issues, violence prevention and other factors which may indicate a need for confidential counseling services. The training program shall be offered not less than four times per contract year. The Company agrees to provide periodic training sessions throughout the term of the Agreement to both the new employees and new supervisory personnel. e. If the Proposer is of the opinion that the Authority would benefit by having training given to audiences other than supervisors, then the details and costs of such training should be included in the Proposals submitted.
