Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University anticipates that its efforts will focus on the implementation of an integrated set of core functions/modules, however, the University will consider the implementation of separate, stand-alone functions/modules if that is determined to be the optimal solution. The University expects to implement these functions in a phased approach. These functions include: Grants and Cooperative Agreements, including: budget development, proposal development, approval and routing, proposal submission, award management, reporting, closeout, subaward administration and related correspondence Contracts, including: budget development, agreement development, approval and routing, contract negotiation, contract execution and tracking, award management, reporting, closeout, subcontract administration, and related correspondence Clinical Trials Management, including: study management from initiation through close-out, research training tracking, study budget development and coverage analysis, study participant tracking, billing compliance management, study finance management (A/R, A/P), billing reporting, connectivity with other modules (grants & contracts, human research, IBC) for seamless internal approval submission and tracking
