Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor (Hearing Officer) shall provide the following duties: 1.—Writing decisions that include findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommended and final orders. 2.—Draft, review, and issue notices, orders, and correspondence and conduct legal research on complex matters and issues. 3.—Pick up from and deliver back to the Cabinet all case files, audio transcripts, correspondence, and orders, whether by hand-delivery or by electronic transmission. Individual will be allowed to work off site. Individual shall report to the office, as needed, and directed by the Director of the Division of Administrative Hearings. 4.—Represent the Division on an as needed basis for administrative hearings. Travel may be required. Travel reimbursement will follow state guidelines and will be reimbursed only for travel to and from hearings.
