The Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Economic Development (the “IDA”) is soliciting statement of qualifications from proficient civil engineering firms to undertake the requisite engineering tasks and facilitate permit coordination for the Walters Industrial Park Infrastructure (See Exhibit A). The envisaged expansion encompasses the following elements: • Final design of the actual roadway and prospective lots on the 163-acre parcel owned by the Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Industrial Authority located at 3831 Owingsville Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. • Construction of ~7100 linear feet of industrial asphalt roadway (connecting to Owingsville Road and Oak Grove Drive) and demolition of several structures onsite. • Mass grading spanning the 163-acre property to prepare shovel-ready proposed lots. • Provision of utility services, including gas, electric, water (~7,000LF), sewer (~7750LF), stormwater, and communications to cater to the proposed lots for commercial real estate development in conformance with master plan and economic development needs of Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County. • Project is likely to receive both state and federal grants for infrastructure improvements.
