KCTCS requests proposals for video, photography, and multimedia services to support the marketing and public relations activities of the college. Projects will include, but are not limited to, recaps of special events, feature videos highlighting academic programs, short-form videos designed for social media, b-roll and still photography for use in news media pitches, and professional photography for marketing collateral and digital platforms. The vendor must provide: 1. Pre-production a. Collaboration with college representatives to develop creative, compelling videos and photography that focus on storytelling and accomplish the goals of each project. b. Planning meetings with college representatives to review goals and establish the style, content, length, format, and delivery timeline of each project. c. Written outline for each project to include shot lists for both video and photography, as well as key messages, interview questions, and/or scripts as determined in planning meetings. d. Assist in selecting and preparing talent for both video and photo sessions. e. Flexible scheduling options may be required to meet the needs of faculty, staff, students, and community partners to be featured in projects. 2. Production a. Provide all personnel and equipment needed to capture professional video, audio, and photography, including but not limited to professional lighting, basic teleprompter, drone for occasional aerial footage, and high-resolution still photography equipment. b. Provide voice-over services as needed. c. Capture candid and posed photography at college events, in classrooms/labs, and at employer partner sites, ensuring images align with brand standards and can be used for a variety of marketing purposes. d. Shoot locations may be located on or near any KCTCS campus or center across the state of Kentucky, as well as at employer partner sites and community locations throughout the state. 3. Post-production and Delivery a. Provide all video and photo editing services, including color correction, cropping, and retouching as needed. b. Capability to provide video transcripts and rough-cut videos when requested, allowing for collaboration with college representatives on content and soundbites to be used in the final product. c. Graphic design capabilities to add visuals, photography, and stylized subtitles that engage viewers and promote the KCTCS/College brand. d. Provide organized galleries of final edited photography in high-resolution and web-ready formats, with appropriate usage rights granted to the college. e. Ability to deliver on short timelines, within 12 hours or less, when the occasion warrants it. For example, recap videos and photography from evening graduation ceremonies should be presented for the first review the following morning; and some special events must be promoted quickly, with b-roll, photographs, and social media content available immediately following the event. f. Deliver high-quality videos ready for college staff to download and publish to various web platforms. g. Deliver high-quality audio files for video projects that are also published as podcasts, etc. h. Store and provide raw video footage and original high-resolution photography files upon request.
