It is the intent of these specifications to describe the minimum requirements for two (2) uniloaders. The first unit will be used by the Street Maintenance Division of Public Works for street and road maintenance. The second unit, which will include a flatbed trailer for transport, will be used by the Parks Department for Park maintenance. The Parks Department currently has a Bobcat® Model 843B in service with Bobcat® attachments including snowplow, 6-way blade, trencher, auger, hammer, and various buckets. It is the intent of the bid to purchase a new uniloader to replace the existing 843B. The new unit shall accommodate the Bobcat® attachments already owned by the City with no kits, additional attachments, or modifications required. The trailer will be used to transport the new unit to worksites.
