The Project will focus on the restoration of the garages' stair towers, and garage concrete and waterproofing repairs. The stair tower work includes replacement of the single-ply roofs, overcoating of steel rails, concrete repairs, and waterproofing which includes sealers and sealant replacement. The main waterproofing work in the garages includes the installation of a membrane system on the concrete roof canopies, removal and replacement of floor slab membrane, and removal and replacement of expansion joints. The main concrete work includes PT floor slab repairs, trench drain repairs, installation of concrete overlays, beam/column repairs, and curb repairs. There are two Alternate Bid Work items for the project. The first alternate is associated with the additional installation of a membrane system on a concrete roof canopy, and the second alternate is for additional expansion joint replacements.
