1. SCOPE The Kenton County Board of Education is requesting vendors to quote discounts off list prices as published in their latest catalog(s), a percentage off store/website, and/or a discount for labor rates by the hour for materials and labor associated with District Building and Grounds maintenance and repairs. 2. DELIVERY LOCATION The items shall be delivered (F.O.B. Destination) to ALL current and future school and office locations of the Kenton County Board of Education, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If vendor quotes plus (+) shipping, their bid may be rejected. All items are to be shipped INSIDE DELIVERY, unless otherwise noted for materials that are to remain outside, i.e., mulch, soil, playground equipment, etc. 3. ORDERING The Board will furnish successful bidders formal Purchase Orders. In no case,shall delivery be made to any location without a purchase order or workorder number and/or prior approval of the Purchasing Department. 4. SPECIAL CONDITONS i. The percentage of discount shall remain firm for the period of the contract. The companies receiving awards as a result of this bid will be required to extend the same percentage of discount, terms, and conditions to all KCSD Schools and locations regardless of funding source. ii. The current labor rates provided on the bid form allows the KCSD to evaluate the discount off labor you have proposed. It does not establish a fixed labor rate. However, labor rate discounts offered shall remain firm for the entire contract period. iii. Note on the bid form if your company will accept Procurement (Credit) Cards: Visa® or MasterCard®. Orders will be placed using either Purchase Orders or Procurement Cards. iv. If labor is applicable, indicate the current rate charge per hour with discount offered noting all exceptions. v. All deliveries shall be complete within two (2) weeks from receipt of purchase order, unless prior arrangement is made with the Purchasing Dept.
