Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded vendor shall ensure the safeguard of all Metro deposit bags. The vendor is solely liable for the security and contents of the deposit(s) and deposit bag(s) once in their possession. The vendor’s liability ceases upon delivery to the authorized employees in OMB’s Cash Management Division and Louisville Metro Revenue Commission. • The selected vendor shall transport deposits from outlying Metro agencies beginning at 10:00 to the downtown OMB office at 609 W. Jefferson 40202 by 2:00 PM daily. All deposit bags will be delivered intact on the same day as pick up and by no later than 2:00 PM ET Monday through Friday. • The awarded vendor will also be responsible for daily bulk mail pick up of Louisville Metro Revenue Commission (LMRC) mail at the Gardner Ln Post Office for PO Boxes 32060 and 35185. The contents of PO Box 35185 are secured in a locked bag. The contents are to be received by LMRC (617 West Jefferson St.) by 8:30 am the day the contents are retrieved. Mail is to be kept separate by PO Box. There may be no mail for some of the PO Boxes on some days, but they must be checked daily. LMRC reserves the right to add additional PO Boxes and expects that the contract rate will apply. Additional daily pickups may be required during peak season. • The vendor shall collect empty bags at the OMB and LMRC offices and return them to the locations during the next day’s service. • Research of missing or disputed items will be done at no additional cost to Metro. Metro will submit written notification of a missing or disputed item. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to resolve such issues within five (5) working days of notification from Metro. • If the awarded vendor fails to pick up a scheduled stop, the locations shall be rescheduled for the next business day at no additional cost to Metro. The vendor will notify the Metro designee before 2:00 PM on the same day as the infraction occurred via email. The bag(s) will be carried forward to the next business day’s pick-up or as instructed by the Metro designee. • If an incorrect delivery or loss should occur, the vendor shall provide notice of the error to the appropriate Metro designee immediately upon discovery, followed up by written notification within one (1) business day. • Employees shall be identified by a company ID at all times. • Metro holidays are listed below. No pick-ups will be required on these days although various locations may have different scheduled closings. The Metro designee will advise the contractor of such variations no later than one (1) week in advance of the holiday.
