Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractors are not to plow snow on their assigned routes until directed to do so by Gerald Turner, or his designee. Contractors will immediately stop plowing as directed by Gerald Turner or his designee. 2. Contractors are to be available to perform plow services in three (3) hours or less after verbal notice to begin. Contractors will not necessarily be notified that standby conditions exist due to impending poor weather. 3. Contractors may not be called to perform work on any given snow. 4. Note further stipulations within the specifications. In order to open schools or finish all routes, the BOARDS forces can and will perform snow removal services at schools under contract. Generally, no contractor will be directed into another contractors route unless there is an extreme snow emergency and the contracted vendor has failed to provide service.
