Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Maintenance of sample integrity and chain-of-custody of the samples 2. Analysis of each sample for the requested analyses utilizing the specified analytical methods in accordance with EPA approved or properly documented methods 3. The contractor will provide to the Division of Environmental Services, an analytical report within fourteen (14) working days of the receipt of the sample for those analyses done in-house and no longer than twenty one (21) working days for those outsourced analyses. Analytical reports are to contain the following information: a. Analytical results must be reported clearly and concisely for all samples run, including method blanks and spikes. To expedite reporting, electronic reporting is acceptable as an initial report. If an electronic format is utilized, it must be followed by a paper report. Both paper and electronic reporting must contain at least the following: Analyzing Laboratory name, contract number, laboratory sample ID, Division Sample ID, date of sample collection, Sampler's name, date the sample was received by the laboratory, sample matrix, analytical method utilized, analytical method name of the analyte, CAS No. of the analyte, concentration of the analyte (expressed as percent, part per million, part per billion, etc), data flags, date analyzed, analyst's name, and footnotes or comments related to any irregularities in the analytical procedure.
