The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners seeks the services of a Kentucky-licensed attorney to provide legal representation to the Board. Requested services include representation of the Board at all levels of the court system and/or before administrative tribunals where the Board may be a party; provision of legal advice and assistance to the Board on all matters falling within its jurisdiction; preparation and review of legal documents and filings necessary for the implementation and administration of the Board’s regulatory duties and obligations; and provision of legal advice on other miscellaneous matters. Applicants should have prior experience in providing advice on legal matters concerning health care provider licensing issues. The successful applicant will represent the Board, and its members, officers, or employees in their official capacities, if required.
