The Contract work provides for the construction repairs of all four pump stations that shall include, but not limited to complete piping insulation removal, heat tracing protection, replacement of any damaged heat tracing due to construction, and insulation replacement. Contractor shall take precautions to ensure that no debris or dust escapes the fenced in area at any time during Contractor activities. Two of the four sites are located on food processing industry property, and Contractor shall take special care and be explicitly responsible for sitespecific security procedures and continuous documentation and control of personnel access and activities in accordance with site-specific requirements. Each Pump Station yard lies adjacent to protected bodies of water (Ohio River and Storm Water Basin Contaminant) and special care shall be taken by the Contractor to ensure no trash, debris or other contaminants are allowed to come into contact with surface waters at any time through the course of the work.
