The Henderson County Board of Education is seeking to contract with an agency and/or individuals to provide mental health services to HCS students. The qualified therapist(s) shall provide on-site consultation/mental health services for the purpose of identifying and working with students in an effort to reduce mental health and behavioral barriers to learning. Treatments and procedures may include (but are not limited to) any or all of the following, as per individual student needs: 1. Counseling/Mental Health Services 2. Behavioral Health diagnosis and treatment 3. Mental Health diagnosis and treatment 4. Individual and family psychotherapy 5. Case management services, including referral and follow-up 6. Training of HCS school staff for behavioral health disorders and therapeutic interventions 7. Providing mental health services to ALL students, including Medicaid-eligible and non-Medicaideligible students. The service provider shall be responsible for billing Medicaid for services they provide to Medicaid-eligible students. 8. Provide mental health services to students with identified counseling needs as part of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) The service provider shall provide a total of 14 therapist(s) on-site at each HCS school location on a full-time basis to provide direct and indirect services to HCS students during the school year in accordance with the HCS school calendar. HCS shall provide a private office(s) on HCS property for therapist(s) to provide services.
