Specifications include, but are not limited to: Under the direction of the Director of the Division of District Support, any consultants who are awarded a contract may be assigned to perform one or more of the following duties: conduct management reviews in the areas of financial management, governance, personnel, school facilities,food service, student tracking, or pupil transportation in those districts requesting such services or as assigned by the Commissioner of Education or Associate Commissioner for the Office of Administration and Support actively monitor districts with declared or impending financial emergencies and perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the Associate Commissioner for the Office of Administration and Support.The Commonwealth reserves the right to make multiple contract awards as a result of this procurement, if it is in the best interest of the Commonwealth to do so. However, there is no minimum amount of work guaranteed under any contract awarded. Services may be required in any of the 174 public school districts in Kentucky. The actual time and effort required to perform services may vary depending on the need in a particular district.The Commonwealth seeks candidates with significant experience in Kentucky school district operations related to financial management,governance, personnel, school facilities, food service, student tracking, or pupil transportation.If a company responds to this solicitation, the company must propose specific candidates for the work. Each candidate will be individually evaluated based upon that specific persons experience.Any contract resulting from this Request for Services must comply with provisions of KRS 45A.695. The Commonwealth has the right to cancel the selection process at any time for any reason. Only the Commissioner of Education or his designee may bind the Department.
