Except as provided herein, perform all work in accordance with the Department's Standard and Supplemental Specifications and applicable Standard and Sepia Drawings, current editions. Article references are to the Standard Specifications. This work shall consist of: (1) Maintain and Control Traffic; and (2) Furnish and install Inlaid Pavement Markers (IPMs) in recessed grooves; and (3) Any other work as specified by these notes and the Contract. II. MATERIALS The Department will sample all materials in accordance with the Department's Sampling Manual. Make the materials available for sampling a sufficient time in advance of the use of the materials to allow for the necessary time for testing unless otherwise specified in these Notes. A. Maintain and Control Traffic. See the Traffic Control Plan. B. Markers. Provide reflective lenses with depth control breakaway positioning tabs. Before furnishing the markers, provide to the Engineer the manufacturer’s current recommendations for adhesives and installation procedures. Use one brand and design throughout the project. Adhesives. Use adhesives that conform to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
