Traffic Directors must be thoroughly familiar with and trained on rules, regulations, and procedures for traffic direction. Will be used at the Gates directing vehicles into the appropriate lanes to speed up the traffic flow. Also will be used in directing traffic, on the property to outlying parking lots as needed. The vast majority of service will be provided under impact situations. An impact parking situation is one in which a heavy volume of vehicular traffic is entering or simultaneously entering and exiting the facility in a short period of time. Security Guards must be thoroughly familiar with and trained on rules, regulations, and procedures for security operations. Activities will include, but not be limited to: crowd control and security of State Fair monetary receipts, protection of property of exhibitors and the safety of the general public. They must be physically able and mentally alert to perform their duties. Parkers will direct cars into parking lots and spaces as needed at KEC.
