The qualified vendor shall transport and deliver 5,000 live F1 Hybrid Largemouth Bass / Florida Bass (4-8 inches) for stocking purposes to Paintsville Lake, located in Johnson County, Kentucky. The vendor shall guarantee the fish are first generation F1 hybrids, resulting from a cross between Largemouth Bass (Micropterus nigricans) and Florida Bass (Micropterus salmoides). Preferred delivery of the live fish shall occur on a weekday during October 1-15, 2025. The vendor shall notify KDFWR Eastern Fisheries District personnel once a delivery schedule is established and must provide a minimum 48-hour advance notice prior to delivery. The vendor must: # Possess all applicable state and federal permits for transporting and stocking live fish. A one-time special exemption will be granted to the qualified vendor to allow the transport of F1 hybrid bass into the Commonwealth of Kentucky. # Have experience in fish transportation and stocking operations. # Allow KDFWR to collect a subsample to confirm that at least 95% of the fish are F1 Hybrid / Largemouth Bass.
