Facility Operations & Maintenance • Ensure the venue remains clean, operational, and welcoming to the public. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance in line with city requirements. • Coordinate with City for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. • Ensure the venue complies with ADA, fire, and health codes. • Provide all staff as approved by City. • Book all events, collect deposits, and execute contracts as authorized by City. Booking & Public Access Management ● Manage scheduling and reservations for public, private, and city-sponsored events. ○ Utilize software to track all rentals, BEO’s, contracts with full transparency and log in access to Jeffersontown ● Prioritize equitable access for nonprofits, community groups, and civic events. ● Enforce city policies on fee waivers, subsidized rates, or resident discounts. ● Maintain a transparent and fair booking process, including conflict resolution. Community Engagement & Public Service ● Promote the venue as a community asset, encouraging inclusive programming. ● Coordinate with local schools, nonprofits, and neighborhood organizations. ● Host or support city-led events such as town halls, cultural festivals, and public workshops. ● Gather community feedback and adapt services accordingly. Event Coordination & Oversight ● Provide day-of coordination or support for events hosted at the venue. ● Ensure setup, signage, AV, and accessibility accommodations are in place. ● Maintain clear guidelines on use of city resources (e.g., power, water, tables/chairs).
