Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide support assistance in three highway safety areas: (1) to support the Rhode Island TrafficRecords Coordinating Committee (TRCC), a statewide stakeholder forum created to facilitate theplanning, coordination, and implementation of projects to improve Rhode Island traffic recordssystem (2) to lend expertise to National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA)SECTION 408 Traffic Safety Grant federal funding process as well as to provide guidance toSECTION 408 Sub-Grantees; and (3) to provide on-going technical assistance, as required, to theRIDOT/OHS management and staff with regard to the various highway safety programs and toassist in identifying Federal, State, and private sector funding opportunities for traffic records andtraffic safety purposes
