The Warren County Board of Education seeks the services of qualified and experienced General Construction Contractors to perform general construction services for the School District. Note: The District currently has General Construction Services Contractors. The purpose of this solicitation is to add additional Contractors to ensure all projects are completed as promptly as possible. The District seeks contracts with the following hourly rates: standard weekday hourly rate, overtime hourly rate, weekend hourly rate, holiday hourly rate, and emergency hourly rate. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform services. Parts/materials will be furnished by the Contractor and be included on invoices to the District at the Contractor’s cost plus the agreed mark-up rate. Due to the size and scope of some projects, additional labor charges may be authorized but must be prior approved by the District. The District reserves the right to award this contract in whole, in part, to a single or multiple Contractors, or not at all so that its best interest is served. The District also reserves the right to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received, to request additional information, and to negotiate with contractors. For projects over $20,000, independent of these awarded contracts, the District reserves the right to engage the contracted vendors to provide quotes; or post these projects publicly for bidding.
