Specifications include, but are not limited to: The vendor MUST comply with all E.P.A., O.S.H.A., U.S.D.A., other Federal, and Commonwealth of Kentucky License, Certifications, Permits, Notifications, and Label Requirements for the application of Tri-Brom 80, Methyl Bromide fumigation.The vendor is to furnish all equipment, materials, supplies, (including fumigant), and a certified applicator, trained handlers and required PPE as required to apply Tri-Brom 80, 80.0%, chloropicrin 19.9%, at the rate of 240 pounds per acre.Vendor will train no less than 2 and up to 4 nursery personnel at each location as Handlers as defined in the label. The Division of Forestry will provide its trained handlers with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the label. The division will supply to the vendor at least one week prior to application, a soil sample test result that determines percent organic content of the soil so buffer zone credits can be incorporated into the fumigation plan (completed by the vendor).The fumigation plan will be completed by the vendor in coordination and consensus with each nursery manager.
