Pursuant to Sections 163 and 164 of the Kentucky Constitution, the City of Bowling Green (the “City”) will consider offers for sale to the highest and best bidders, plus all costs including advertising costs, for a telecommunications system franchise as defined in Ordinance BG2025- 23 adopted by the City of Bowing Green Board of Commissioners on October 21, 2025. The franchise shall be non-exclusive and shall allow the franchisee to construct, erect, maintain, and operate in the public streets, avenues, alleys, and other public ways of the City of Bowling Green a system of poles, wires, cables, underground conduits, manholes, and other conductors or fixtures necessary for the operation and maintenance of a cable system. The franchise shall be for a term of ten years and shall be effective on the date it is awarded.
