Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall have a State certified fire alarm inspectors on staff. Vendor shall inspect, test, and make all necessary repairs/replacements of the fire alarm system and its components necessary to provide continuous and proper operation of such. Inspections will be made upon request (within three (3) business days) or as required by state/local codes/laws. Components include, but not limited to, all type of control panels, pull stations, horns, sirens, heat and smoke detectors, bells, enunciators, duct detectors, power supplies, loudspeakers, public address systems, and connected items necessary for the alarm system’s proper operation. Components and replacement parts will be of the same type and quality and fully functional with the existing alarm system(s). Requests for exemption, with justification, will be made to Facilities Management beforehand. Additional troubleshooting, repairs, and installation/expansion may be done upon request at the vendor’s stated hourly rate and parts mark-up rate. Additional building/facilities may be added or deleted at any time as necessary, as determined by Metro Facilities Management. FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SERVICING -Vendor must have been in business for a minimum of 5 years and in good standing with Metro Louisville -Vendor will have a place of business headquarters within 25 miles of Louisville, KY -Vendor must show proof of product liability insurance -Vendor must state all routine service rates that will be charged to Facilities Management -Vendor must state all regular and overtime hourly rates that will be charged to Facilities Management for services provided
