Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is to request a one time contract for the rental of a large, commercial-scale screening machine and operator to sift approximately 3000 tons of salt that is stored below ground at Louisville Underground facility in District 5. This 3000 tons contains small rock, clods and other debris. The screening/sifting machine must be mobile, capable of sifting debris from rock salt with a 0.5 inch screen and have the ability to be fully operational in an enclosed environment with a thirty-foot ceiling. The unit shall be a two-deck, heavy-duty incline screen. The units hopper system, feed conveyors, power unit and hydraulics must all be of heavy duty construction and capable of handling large quantities of material. The unit shall be large enough to screen at least 1,000 tons of salt during a four-hour period of operation and have the capability of configuring to a two-way or three-way screening operation
