A hydro-vacuum truck, or equivalent, with operator to be used in any counties of KYTC District 1 (Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg). The equipment shall be furnished in good mechanical working condition, fully operated with one (1) operator and with all maintenance and repairs including fuel and lubrication necessary for its operation. Payment shall be for actual hours operating hydro-vacuum truck, or equivalent, as measured in the field. All other items such as travel time to and from the site, down time for repairs longer than 15 minutes, and time required taking the debris to the disposal location and return to the site shall be considered incidental to contract unit bid prices for "Pump Truck: Cleaning Septic and Sewer Lines in D-1 Counties" and “Pump Truck: Clean out Storm Basins, Inlets & Various Tanks”. The vendor will be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours per work order (Delivery Order) issued by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet – Department of Highways. The district operations staff will notify the contractor when work is to begin. The contractor is to initiate service within the proposed delivery period. See Section 1.02 Response Time.
