Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the replacement of the existing trunk sewer. The project begins on the west side of a rail line operated by CSX (under operating agreement) and extends approximately 4500 lineal feet downstream. The existing sewer size along this proposed route varies from 12-inches on the upstream end to 18-inches on the downstream end. SD1 has proposed that this segment of sewer line be increased to 24-inches. The project also involves the upsizing of approximately 500-feet of a branch line on the west side of the railroad to 24-inches; and the upsizing of approximately 2500-feet of a branch line on the east side of the railroad to 18-inches. The existing sewer extends through an arch culvert under the railroad. This sewer will be abandoned and the project will construct a new 24-inch line under the railroad through boring and jacking methodology as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by ECSI, LLC Engineers.
