Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Offer will provide intensivists to staff the eICU. Monitoring ICU patients and intervening as appropriate in accordance with the role of intensivist. They will provide close monitoring and critical care interventions. Offeror must be willing to sign a non-compete clause that will include the entire state of Kentucky. Offeror is responsible for procuring, installing and managing computer hardware and telecom equipment in a configuration enabling the remote performance of Services. Offeror is responsible for expenses related to Physician office space and any telecommunications connectivity services necessary for the performance of remote Services. Offeror must comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations. Offeror must be an active (or if provisional, obtain active status within three (3) years) member in good standing of each of the UK HealthCare’s Medical staff with clinical privileges in his/her appropriate specialty area and meet the requirements established by the appropriate Medical staff departments, consistent with Medical staff bylaws and rules; Offeror must comply with all bylaws, policies, rules, regulations and directives of UK HealthCare, its Medical staff, The Joint Commission (if applicable to the Medical Center) and all other bodies and agencies with jurisdiction over the Medical Center and the Services, Physicians that provide coverage must be board certified or board eligible in Critical Care and be licensed in the state of Kentucky and have a DEA license. ACLS certification must be current. Coverage availability will be up to 7 days per week including weekends, holidays, etc. Ability to monitor up to 170 critical care beds at a time required. Offeror must be available to provide coverage as early as January 2020.
